- Skill level: Comfortable Beginner (Skill Levels Explained)
- Technique: Peyote
- Project type: Earrings
Description
Inspired by the look of fine Edwardian lace, these earrings have a delicate, feminine feel with a soft shimmer and graceful movement. The design uses Japanese cylinder beads in peyote stitch to create a light, lace-like structure that feels both classic and wearable.
You’ll follow a clear word pattern as the design builds, allowing the structure to form naturally as you stitch. Two pattern options are included, so you can choose your favorite — or make one of each, as I did.
The fringe adds gentle sparkle with 3mm and 4mm crystals, bringing movement and light to the finished piece without overwhelming the design.
This is a satisfying project for beaders who enjoy pattern work and want a refined finished piece that looks intricate, yet comes together in a steady, learnable way.
